We walked in to a warm, inviting atmosphere of music playing, light snow falling, a personalized note and complimentary maple syrup. The grounds were so well-marked that snowshoeing was easy and beautiful! It’s like paying for a whole, winter experience. Our life went on pause and we left refreshed. Thank you!

All the reviews I read did measure up to our expectations! Beautiful property, very private, friendly helpful staff. It was our first visit to the Adirondacks and we were provided with printed out directions to spectacular sight seeing mts, nature walks, and nearby markets for anything we had forgotten or ran out of. This was an unforgettable camping trip we will never forget!

  • Look no further! What a wonderful stay! The treehouse is gorgeous and truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Sheila and Bob are great hosts and ensured my little getaway was perfect. The cherry on top was sitting by the fire after a long day of hiking.

  • There are not enough good things that could be said about this wonderful haven. The treehouse is just like the pictures; absolutely gorgeous and magical. We immediately felt like we had a special retreat. Sheila, Will, Bob, and Chrissy were all such great hosts - they were always available and had great recommendations for things to do, but were happy to give us our space as well. It was the perfect balance. Sheila helped us find a few places that rent canoes, and recommended a wonderful paddle for us to take that was only a five mile drive from the treehouse. We were also able to reach the high peaks region quite easily - it's a bit of a drive, but absolutely worth it to stay at this beautiful property. The location is actually great because it's close enough to town that you can get gas or whatever you need, but far enough away to feel remote. The cookhouse is a total glamping situation. We were able to very easily and happily make our meals on the fire and on the two-burner coleman stove in the cookhouse, and there was everything we needed as far as dishes and whatnot. There's a great little area in the cookhouse for hanging out as well, with some adirondack chairs and a hammock chair. I loved journaling there in the morning, as well as on the deck of the treehouse. This may seem like a strange thing to comment on, but another thing that stuck out was the water from the spigot hose, which was absolutely delicious! It's nice and cold straight out of the hose and so fresh tasting. We loved drinking that and cooking our meals with it. Another lovely thing was the maple syrup - Sheila and Bob had very generously left us a sample, but we had to buy more because it was so good! It was great that they had that available there, at a great price for the quality. I can't recommend this place enough and I am just sad that it will probably be hard to go back because I'm sure it's going to be booked all the time, but we will definitely make it happen somehow because it was amazing.

This charming tree house has everything you need for your upstate getaway. Remote and isolated, we felt safe and secure the entire time thanks to our incredibly knowledgeable hosts. The noise of the nightly rain on the roof was a treat - maple syrup is the best we have ever had - the heated blanket was a wonderful touch for the cold evenings. Fast WiFi and a great selection of books. Gorgeous property in an excellent retreat location. Thank you!

My friend and I drove to the Adirondacks for a snowy NYE in the treetops. Sheila was very helpful and clear ahead of time with information about the space that might prove a deterrent for non-adventurous folks in winter (not heated except for a small space heater; bathroom/shower and cookhouse a short distance from the living space).

We brought all our layers, and while we were still very, very cold (until we got in the cozy bed with a heated mattress pad!), the beauty and the magic of the space were well worth any chilly night. Lovely and well-kept trails around the property, a sugarhouse, a lean-to, and many more things.

It really has to be seen to be experienced fully. One of our favorite things was the photo album of how the treehouse was built. Also seeing the string lights reflected in the trees outside, like a wide net of stars. We were only there for one night, but all our friends are already asking where this magical place was and how to get there ASAP. Don’t miss the chance, if you’ve got it!

  • We arrived at night and we could see the treehouse coming up the driveway and could already tell it was going to exceed our expectations. From the second we arrived, Sheila and her husband Bob were the most gracious hosts. They toured us around the campgrounds to show us where everything was and believe me when I say they provide literally everything you need except for food. Everything was very well cleaned and prepared and Sheila and Bob are very knowledgeable about what to do in the area and just overall great people to talk with. We will definitely be coming back to stay again

Sheila & Bob’s place was truly amazing. We stayed during winter & Shelia gave us a full rundown of what to expect. It turned out to be even more amazing in the snow than we expected & we were warm with no problems cause of Shelia’s pre-travel information & the right preparation. We made food in their screened in cookhouse and made a fire with some marshmallows! It was definitely an unforgettable experience & I can’t wait to come again! Thank you both for being so welcoming & sharing your treehouse with the world!

A wonderful experience all the way through. We were greeted by Bob when we arrived late at night and he was kind enough to give us a little tour of the property. They have everything you could need! The treehouse was a dream- such a unique space. The hosts left us a trial of their homemade maple syrup which is to die for!! The bathroom is about 10ft from the treehouse which has a shower with hot water and clean towels. The hosts gave us so many great suggestions to explore around the area and make the most of our experience. We will be recommending to all of our friends and would love to come back! Book without hesitation!!!
