  • Beautful location. Great communication. very clean and SO many wonderful little touches made it perfect for our family; beautiful (well marked) walking trails, local maple syrup (so yummy) to enjoy with a leisurely breakfast, proximity to PSC, the firepit (set up for match light with dry firewood nearby) for chatting late into the night. It was a wonderful weekend ! Thank you Bob and Sheila for a wonderful time!

  • The log lean-to and surrounding property is a really fun place to camp. There is a natural rock climbing wall next to the campsite, and several trails looping around the area. We enjoyed the stars, hikes, and wildlife in the area very much.

  • Sheila was absolutely lovely. She offered great tips on the best hiking spots and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. One of the most attentive and warm air bnb hosts I’ve ever experienced!

A wonderful experience all the way through. We were greeted by Bob when we arrived late at night and he was kind enough to give us a little tour of the property. They have everything you could need! The treehouse was a dream- such a unique space. The hosts left us a trial of their homemade maple syrup which is to die for!! The bathroom is about 10ft from the treehouse which has a shower with hot water and clean towels. The hosts gave us so many great suggestions to explore around the area and make the most of our experience. We will be recommending to all of our friends and would love to come back! Book without hesitation!!!

This place was serene and majestic, my partner and I spent our anniversary here and it was everything we could have asked for. The hosts are all very friendly and gracious! We loved their cute pup Denali and the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. Thanks again!

  • Sheila and Bob's tree house was a amazing experience. The scenery and property both go beyond our exceptions, a must see is the eldest pine it was astonishing. Bob and sheila both offered loads of options for us to do and see both on their property and off. There was no amenity that was lacking, it actually surprised us with how well stocked everything was for a trip to the woods, when she says you don't need to bring anything but food she really means it. Its very centrally located to the bigger tourist towns while still feeling secluded. Its a trip i would recommend to anyone who wants to be apart of nature and to get away without having to truly "rough it". It's half camp it's half glamp all fun!

The magical treehouse is stunning to see in person - but walking inside makes you believe in magic for a second! (Light spoiler alert until the end of the paragraph, if you want to be extra surprised by how magical the treehouse is) - We arrived at night and the hosts had set it up with twiggy holiday lights wrapping around the interior room, elf music playing gently from a cd player, and a little faux-fireplace space heater. The walls are lined with novels and novelties that could provide days of intrigue, the forest views are upstaged by the cute furniture and handmade trimming, and a dining table had a little jar of homemade syrup next to a photo album of the treehouse being made. The magical feeling is clearly made a reality by decades of passion, experience, and love.

We visited the last week of November: it was essentially winter-camping. The hosts were clear about this up front and reached out before we even confirmed to make sure we'd be comfortable and prepared. The treehouse was maybe 2 degrees warmer than what was outside. The space heater up there accomplishes very little, although a heated blanked does make the bed somewhat cozier. We slept in sub-10 degree F weather the last night, and I had to wear long socks, two pants, two sweaters, and a hat pulled around my face. I was cozy and happy though! The bathroom is inside a well-heated cabin, and makes the mornings, evenings, and bathroom trips quite pleasant. It's really nice with a hot shower and plenty of space to change in the heat.

The property is adorable, we cooked at their huge firepit a few times. There is a screened-in cookhouse, which means it has 0 insulation as well. If you're cooking on the property, you'll be cooking outdoors (although under a roof with a nice table/campstove). The hosts provided sufficient firewood, although we brought a bit of our own and had an extra-big blaze.

Overall, I would highly recommend this experience (the winter version) to anyone who
    1) Can prepare and adapt for a full-on magical adventure. Do not under prepare for sleeping here.
    2) Can climb up slightly slippery, steep stairs. This does require some finesse to enter, I would not recommend it to my family with knee issues as much as they'd love the space.
    3) Likes nature, homemade carpentry, elf-vibes, really anything. If you can survive the cold and make it up the stairs, you'll make a life-long memory.

The hosts are extremely communicative and experienced, just reach out if you have questions!

The treehouse was a wonderful experience for my wife and I. We were at the very end of our road trip and wanted something special at the Adirondacks and the treehouse is a highlight. The place is clean and comfortable. Although there were along of bugs and mosquitos outside, we did not have bug trouble while inside the treehouse. The bathroom is closely located and the cookhouse is well-equipped. I would recommend to visitors to have this unique experience whenever they visit the Adirondacks

  • Bob, Sheila, and Chrissy were phenomenal hosts. They took time to welcome us, answer questions, and offer recommendations about the area. They are great with kids and our two, ages 5 and 7, had a wonderful experience.

The property is beautiful and peaceful and the lean-to felt surprisingly protected and substantial.

Our family is pretty new to camping and staying in their lean-to was a very good way for a beginner to have a positive experience, especially when camping with kids.

    I highly recommend staying here!

Overlook lean to was nothing short of amazing. It had so many amenities and Sheila and her husband were so nice! It rained the night we stayed and we all felt so cozy listening to the rain on the tin roof. The next morning we woke up to a beautiful view of fall leaves, dry and happy! I highly recommend this wonderful glamping experience.

  • This is a lovely outdoor camp in the northern reaches of the Adirondacks. It was immensely peaceful. We sat each night in front of a fire watching the fireflies. We were given great hints for good places to head locally as well. Everything was there for cooking and the out house is very clean. Showers are available back at the main house for a small fee.

Look no further! What a wonderful stay! The treehouse is gorgeous and truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Sheila and Bob are great hosts and ensured my little getaway was perfect. The cherry on top was sitting by the fire after a long day of hiking.
