  • The camp is perfect for a weekend or week long getaway. It is exactly how it is described. They are great hosts who give the place thoughtful touches and provide local tips. Would definitely stay again or reccomend to others visiting the area.

We had a great stay and I definitely recommend asking for local recommendations! Wifi was great, but there's not service for a 15 minute drive in either direction, so be sure to know where you're going before heading out for the day. Definitely more than just a place to crash at night and there's everything you'll need already there for you.

  • This place was the most magical place and a nice area to come to if you want to be surrounded by nature. Shelia, Bob, and Chrissy were accommodating and were helpful when it came to giving different ideas about what to do and where to eat in the area.

Highly recommended!! Thank you for sharing this awesome getaway with us. One weekend definitely was not enough and looking forward to coming back soon. Chrissy was so helpful at giving us the tour for the property. Shiela and Denali came to see how we were at night and she was great. Thank you for giving us tips around the area. Mountain Azure was worth the climb. Also, she showed us how the stars look during the dark and we saw a SHOOTING STAR just in time! it was such an awesome experience. Thank you so much this great place for a quick getaway from our city life.

  • Overlook lean to was nothing short of amazing. It had so many amenities and Sheila and her husband were so nice! It rained the night we stayed and we all felt so cozy listening to the rain on the tin roof. The next morning we woke up to a beautiful view of fall leaves, dry and happy! I highly recommend this wonderful glamping experience.

Sheila and Bob's tree house was a amazing experience. The scenery and property both go beyond our exceptions, a must see is the eldest pine it was astonishing. Bob and sheila both offered loads of options for us to do and see both on their property and off. There was no amenity that was lacking, it actually surprised us with how well stocked everything was for a trip to the woods, when she says you don't need to bring anything but food she really means it. Its very centrally located to the bigger tourist towns while still feeling secluded. Its a trip i would recommend to anyone who wants to be apart of nature and to get away without having to truly "rough it". It's half camp it's half glamp all fun!

Sheila & Bob’s place was truly amazing. We stayed during winter & Shelia gave us a full rundown of what to expect. It turned out to be even more amazing in the snow than we expected & we were warm with no problems cause of Shelia’s pre-travel information & the right preparation. We made food in their screened in cookhouse and made a fire with some marshmallows! It was definitely an unforgettable experience & I can’t wait to come again! Thank you both for being so welcoming & sharing your treehouse with the world!

  • We walked in to a warm, inviting atmosphere of music playing, light snow falling, a personalized note and complimentary maple syrup. The grounds were so well-marked that snowshoeing was easy and beautiful! It’s like paying for a whole, winter experience. Our life went on pause and we left refreshed. Thank you!

The treehouse was a wonderful experience for my wife and I. We were at the very end of our road trip and wanted something special at the Adirondacks and the treehouse is a highlight. The place is clean and comfortable. Although there were along of bugs and mosquitos outside, we did not have bug trouble while inside the treehouse. The bathroom is closely located and the cookhouse is well-equipped. I would recommend to visitors to have this unique experience whenever they visit the Adirondacks

  • Look no further! What a wonderful stay! The treehouse is gorgeous and truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Sheila and Bob are great hosts and ensured my little getaway was perfect. The cherry on top was sitting by the fire after a long day of hiking.

  • There are not enough good things that could be said about this wonderful haven. The treehouse is just like the pictures; absolutely gorgeous and magical. We immediately felt like we had a special retreat. Sheila, Will, Bob, and Chrissy were all such great hosts - they were always available and had great recommendations for things to do, but were happy to give us our space as well. It was the perfect balance. Sheila helped us find a few places that rent canoes, and recommended a wonderful paddle for us to take that was only a five mile drive from the treehouse. We were also able to reach the high peaks region quite easily - it's a bit of a drive, but absolutely worth it to stay at this beautiful property. The location is actually great because it's close enough to town that you can get gas or whatever you need, but far enough away to feel remote. The cookhouse is a total glamping situation. We were able to very easily and happily make our meals on the fire and on the two-burner coleman stove in the cookhouse, and there was everything we needed as far as dishes and whatnot. There's a great little area in the cookhouse for hanging out as well, with some adirondack chairs and a hammock chair. I loved journaling there in the morning, as well as on the deck of the treehouse. This may seem like a strange thing to comment on, but another thing that stuck out was the water from the spigot hose, which was absolutely delicious! It's nice and cold straight out of the hose and so fresh tasting. We loved drinking that and cooking our meals with it. Another lovely thing was the maple syrup - Sheila and Bob had very generously left us a sample, but we had to buy more because it was so good! It was great that they had that available there, at a great price for the quality. I can't recommend this place enough and I am just sad that it will probably be hard to go back because I'm sure it's going to be booked all the time, but we will definitely make it happen somehow because it was amazing.
